10. Do you have any final comments? 1 Maybe less time on blogs and more time on Front page as this was by far the hardest. It was a huge time commitment and often difficult conceptually, but those who persevered really do deserve a medal for bravery. All in all, I learnt a lot of very useful skills that I'm already putting into practice. 2 Very good professional devlopment opportunity. The pace was good and catered for our different abilities. We all increased our knowledge about technology - what is out there, how to use it and new applications for IT in our work. 3 Excellent, very useful project presented with enthusiasm. I have a much better understanding of the 'big picture' and will be able to apply what I've learnt to assist me in teaching. 4 I found this whole cousre very difficult for me - at times I did understand the concept but still get so confused by the computer ! I don't work the way it works !! I have enjoyed the course though at times have felt sub-intelligent and at other times exceptionally frustrated at my lack of ability - which unfortunately means that I don't take on what I am doing. 5 Very useful, great and enjoyable. Steep learning curve in some areas, eg FrontPage. Regarding FrontPage, which I consider to be important, it would have been better to go through the initial steps of building a website together (whole class) and very slowly so as to make sure that everybody would really grasp it. Worth spending some time on this, otherwise, once one did something wrong in the initial stages, then there was no way to fix it up. It was too difficult to undo the mistakes made, without considerable help from the trainer. The course was packed of content and I wish I had had more free time to do my homework properly to practice what I learned in classtime. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. 6 Project was very ambitious..perhaps a little too ambitious. Not enough time to consolidate what we learnt and perhaps too many participants to ensure assistance was available. Time available and out of session assistance to participants varied greatly...those without sufficient time were made to feel at fault....facilitating peers can be a tricky process but we should remain professional. 7 thankyou for your time and patience and one day when I have more time i would like to practise the things that had most appeal and usefulness and with the help of your copious notes will be able to mistress - your quote more of them 8 It was very useful to keep up to date with this technology. I wish I had more time to make use of it. I do find the step by step instruction sheets very useful as I know I can always go back. Thankyou very much. 9 I really enjoyed having the chance to explore some new options. I feel more confident. I need to spend more time consolidating some aspects of the course. thanks Philip. 10 I found the whole course thoroughly interesting. The preparation and delivery were outstanding. The content was varied, applicable and very practical.I can definitely say that I have learnt a lot of new and very useful tricks! 11 A very enjoyable course. I just need lots of free time now to go back over everything and use it well. 12 Everything was interesting, stimulating & enjoyable. 13 I was very pleased to have been able to participate. The sessions were fun, useful, well prepared, clearly presented and supported by excellent notes. Philip was always happy to assist during the sessions and later while tackling exercises at work. And assist he did!as myself and most participates had less rather than more knowledge of the areas covered.
